The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a significant change in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2026 exam date. The exams have been postponed originally scheduled for 28 May 2026, the authorities have said that they are considering changing the examination timetable on administrative and logistical grounds.
CUET UG 2026 is an exam for admission to undergraduate courses in the central universities & some universities participating in it in India. The examination is expected to be one of the largest entrance tests in the country this year with lakhs of candidates appearing for it.
Students and parents have complained about the overlapping board exams, travel issues, and the administration of exams, reports said. On their part NTA is reportedly planning to change some of the dates of the exams to ensure the entrance test is conducted across the nation without any hassle.
