The National Testing Agency (NTA) has formally released the re-examination date for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 for affected applicants across selected test centres. The decision was taken after reports of technical disruptions, question paper allocation delays, and administrative issues at certain centres during the original examination conducted previous this month. The re-exam aims to guarantee honesty and equal opportunity for all applicants appearing in one of the country’s biggest medical entrance examinations.
According to the NTA the candidates who have downloaded their revised admit cards have used their application number and date of birth on the official NEET portal. The agency has also stated that the pattern of the examination, the syllabus and the duration of the re-exam shall be the same as the NEET UG 2026 examination. The candidates are requested to read the reporting time, exam centre information and important instructions given in the admit card carefully before appearing in the examination.
NEET UG 2026 exam is conducted for admission to Under Graduate courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and other allied medical courses offered by government and private colleges in India. It is one of the most competitive entrance tests in the country as lakhs of students appear in the test every year.
