The Directorate of Government Examinations officially announced the result of TN SSLC (Class 10) 2026. The results were released on the official website at 9.30 am on 20th May 2026, the Tamil Nadu Class 10 examinations were held from 11 March to 6 April 2026 with over 8.7 lakh students appearing for the exams.
The official data reveals that 94.31% of students have passed overall which is slightly higher than last year. Girls' attainment was better once again than boys' in the examination results. According to the reports, girls were reported to have 96.47% pass rate, while boys had 92.15% pass rate.
Students can get their marks memo by logging on to the official websites of TN Results Portal and DGE Tamil Nadu. Candidates should enter their Registration No and Date of Birth to access the Score Card. The marksheet is also available on the DigiLocker & the UMANG app for easy access.
When compared at the district level, it can be seen that Pudukottai district has the highest percentage of students passing the exam (97.57%). Sivagangai and Thanjavur also had very good performances. Meanwhile Chennai was demoted in the district rankings this year.
