The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu has activated the official link of Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2026. The students who appeared for the Class 10 board exams can now check the result on the respective official websites by inserting their Register No. & Date of Birth.
Earlier this year, the Tamil Nadu SSLC exams were held at different examination centres in the state. Lakh of students sat for the class X public exams which are deemed to be a key milestone in their academic journey towards higher secondary education.
The results were released online to provide ease of access and quickness to students, officials said. In addition to the result, the board has also issued provisional mark-sheets with marks allotted to individual subjects, the total score and the qualification status. Students are encouraged to check all information stated in the Score card after downloading.
Students who successfully clear the SSLC examinations will become eligible for admission into Class 11 courses in various streams containing Science, Commerce, Arts and vocational education. Schools across Tamil Nadu are necessary to start the higher secondary admission process before the declaration of results. Education specialists have advised juniors to carefully select their stream based on academic interests and future career objectives. Meanwhile, parents and students have welcomed the proper release of results which will help prevent delays in the admission schedule. The Tamil Nadu learning area has urged undergraduates to rely only on official websites for updates concerning mark sheets, additional examinations, revaluation dates and further academic declarations related to the 2026-27 session.
The students can check the result by following the procedure from the official website & then click on the link “SSLC Examination Result 2026”. Once you have entered the log in information, you will see the result on the screen. Students are requested to save a copy of the provisional mark sheet for future references till the original certificates are issued by the schools.
The officials said that the original mark sheets and certificates will be issued to schools in the next few days.
