The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has officially published the provisional answer key for the Assistant Professor Exam 2026. The applicants appearing in the recruitment test can presently download the answer key from the official UPPSC site as well as compare their performance with the answer key before the declaration of the result. The answer key was published on 3rd June, 2026 only a few days after a test was conducted on 31st May, 2026.
The Assistant Professor recruitment drive is to fill 1253 Government Degree Colleges in Uttar Pradesh with Assistant Professors in different subjects. Written test was held for 28 subjects to which a large number of candidates from all over the state appeared.
UPPSC Assistant Professor Answer Key 2026: Key Details
Candidates may use the provisional answer key to check their answers to estimate their likely scores. UPPSC has also given candidates the opportunity to raise any discrepancies they may find in the UPPSC Mains Answer Key. If there are any objections they may be filed until June 9, 2026 accompanied by adequate documentary evidence to substantiate the objection.
The objections should be raised offline and sent to the Exam Controller, Confidential Section, UPPSC Prayagraj, according to the commission. While considering objections, only the evidence from the standard books, NCERT/SCERT books or government publications will be accepted.
The candidates must click on the Assistant Professor exam link in the Answer key section of the official UPPSC portal to download the answer key. The PDF can then be downloaded to be used as a reference for scoring.
Upon consideration of all the objections, UPPSC will release the Final Answer key which will be used for the preparation of the results.
